Our Story
We are a local family run village shop, that strives to offer a high level of customer service to our local community, the surrounding area and customers passing through our lovely West Berkshire village.
The shop was built in 1936 to continue to serve the village of Woolhampton, after the A4 was widened, to what we see today. It continues to evolve, to take into account the changes in village life and the everyday demands of modern lifestyles. However, we feel it is very important to maintain a welcoming, friendly and helpful environment, with a personal touch.
We offer a selection of food offerings, either made in the shop or sourced locally, which include breakfast rolls, brunch, lunchtime or afternoon munches for take-away or to eat in.
We also provide everyday essential groceries, artisan produce as well as daily papers, a traditional paper round and Hermes parcel service, to name a few.
